The official trailer for George Clooney’s new spy thriller, An American, is available here.
This Focus Features film is based on Martin Booth’s book, A Very Private Gentleman, and casts Clooney as an assassin in Europe trying to extract himself from his violent life by completing his last job. It’s a very familiar tale, but one that Clooney should play well.
