The most recent list of NYT Hardcover Fiction Bestsellers features two (count ‘em – 2) vampire thrillers.
Bolstered by the success of the TV series True Blood, the latest Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse novel “Dead and Gone” is in at #10, and fellow fang writer Christine Feehan’s novel “Dark Slayer” at #6. The Top 10 is no stranger to blood and violence, but the fangbangers are definitely flexing their muscle these days.
