Crime thriller superstar Dennis Lehane (Shutter Island, Mystic River) first struck gold with hardboiled crime novels set in his native Massachusetts. More recently, Lehand’s Shutter Island and Mystic River have turned into major movie blockbusters starring Leonardo DeCaprio and Tim Robbins, while the writer’s screenwriting chops were put to good use on the classic HBO series, The Wire.
Now Lehane is back with his latest crime novel, Moonlight Mile. Lehane’s freelance private investigator, Patrick Kenzie, who first appeared in Lehane’s novel Gone, Baby, Gone, is resurrected, along with his partner, Angie Gennaro, to solve another case.
