Fans of Munich may have another winner coming their way as Academy Award winner Helen Mirren (The Queen) stars in the new film, The Debt, slated for release in December. In the film, a group of Israeli Mossad agents search for a Nazi war criminal that slipped away some three decades earlier.
When the Nazi re-emerges, Mirren’s Mossad agent, Rachel Singer, is caught in a dangerous lie (that she had killed him), leaving her to scramble to cover her tracks. The film is a remake of an earlier Israeli film entitled Ha-hov. Also stars Tom Wilkinson and Sam Worthington, directed by John Madden.
